Hokusai Wave transforms reclaimed architectural samples into a rhythmic field of movement, balance, and light. Hundreds of slender elements rise and fall across the surface, creating an abstract wave that appears to shift as the viewer changes position.
Moving from luminous neutral tones into deep blues and blacks, the composition evokes the passage from day into night. Each ascending and descending line represents a moment in life—sometimes bright, sometimes shadowed, yet equally essential to the whole.
