Inspired by the Tablones series of Venezuelan artist Alejandro Otero, Retablón II explores color as rhythm, vibration, and movement.
Each fragment behaves like a musical note—distinct on its own, yet transformed through its relationship with the others. Variations in color, texture, scale, and depth create countless visual combinations, inviting the eye to travel through the composition as if following a changing melody.
Created from reclaimed architectural samples, the work shifts subtly with light and perspective. Through the language of REPOP ART®, forgotten materials find a new rhythm, reminding us that everything transforms.
