Part of the Homenaje al Humano series, Soto Dorado is inspired by Venezuelan master Jesús Rafael Soto and his explorations of movement, repetition, and visual vibration.
Laser-engraved lines Formica samples in luminous shades ofrom gold to silver, float above a reclaimed carpet sample. Their fine parallel lines interact with light, while the separation between each element creates shifting shadows and a subtle kinetic effect as the viewer moves.
Framed with reclaimed wooden Venetian blind pieces, the work transforms discarded architectural materials into a composition filled with rhythm, depth, and quiet luminosity. Through the language of REPOP ART®, everything transforms.
