Part of the Homenaje al Humano series, Soto Grey is inspired by Venezuelan master Jesús Rafael Soto and his explorations of movement, repetition, and optical vibration.
Nine raised architectural samples transition from luminous silver to deep charcoal. Their laser-engraved vertical lines interact with light, creating subtle vibrations and shifting shadows as the viewer moves. The geometric elements float above a textured carpet-sample background, where a delicate burgundy line crosses the composition like a quiet human presence within the structured grid.
Framed with reclaimed wooden Venetian blinds, Soto Grey transforms discarded materials into a refined dialogue between geometry, texture, light, and perception—an expression of the REPOP ART philosophy: everything transforms.
