Inspired by Jesús Rafael Soto’s explorations of vibration, movement, and optical perception, Transparent I marks the beginning of a series in which color appears to move beyond its physical form.
Geometric shapes made from reclaimed acrylic samples rest against a white wood sample base, while a layer of printed glass creates a rhythmic field of black dots across the composition. As the viewer changes position, the colors shift, overlap, and vibrate, revealing an artwork that is never entirely still.
Through the language of REPOP ART®, discarded architectural materials are given new life—transforming color, light, and shadow into a constantly changing visual experience.
